I have a 5 year old Toro Bronco tiller. It runs good since I take care of it. My question is what can I use to?

11 May

get the knob that controls the reverse cable to stay on? The knob isn’t broken but it won’t stay on. It will stay on for a few pullouts but eventually comes off. I thought about using 2-part epoxy glue but it will need to come off if the cable assembly ever needs to taken out for repairs, so epoxy won’t do it. Any ideas?

I have a rototiller, and every year it gets gummed up and I have to take it to shop.?

The shop always flushes the sytem, and charges me about $65. At this point, it would be cheaper to just rent one. Is it easy to flush the system to take care of this. (by the way, I do run at the gas before putting it away for the winter).
The tiller uses a small briggs straton engine, 2 hp. It’s one of those little tillers.
